Year One

Welcome to Year One!  Mrs Cordell (Mon-Weds) and Mrs Cropley (Thurs-Fri) are the class teachers.  We also have Mrs Hawthorne, Mrs Di Gennero and Mrs Bruce (Thurs) supporting learning too. 

 

Every morning we learn Phonics, Literacy and Maths.  Science, Art, Music, P.E, History, Geography, ICT, Design & Technology are taught in the afternoons, plus we are lucky to also have Forest School on a Thursday and Commando Jo's.  We would encourage you to use the free app 'One Minute Maths' with your child as this aligns with White Rose maths that we use throughout the school.
