Sports and P.E

PESSPA

Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity is a key part of school life. We want our children to be lifelong healthy movers. Through our scheme GetSet4PE, each PE lesson has progressive activities that are designed to inspire and engage our pupils, allowing them to explore and develop skills and embed their knowledge.

We provided a wide range resources at break and lunchtimes to promote physical activity throughout the school day, children also have timetabled access to the MUGA, where sports are changed half termly. We also timetable a girls' only day for the MUGA, we want our children to understand the importance of equity and we want to ensure all the children to be able to use the space and feel safe. We encourage our children to develop their social and communication skills through play and physical activity.

Through our school sport partnership we are able to offer our children sport trips throughout the year as well as termly competitions between year groups and houses.
