At Wilstead, we follow a relational approach to behaviour management, focusing on developing secure and positive relationships. This supports our school values, vision and aims, and our belief that children learn best when they feel safe, valued and happy.
We expect Wlstead staff to model and promote positive social behaviour. They are trained to have an understanding of the links between behaviour and communication. Instead of reacting, we focus on preventing and de-escalating negative behaviours.
