2023 Bake off competition results
Wilstead Primary PTA would like to say a huge thank you to you all for helping to make our Bake-off competition a great success!
Afterschool sales helped us to raise an incredible £172 which will support the new Kitchen Classroom.
We received a fantastic selection of entries which gave our judges a difficult but delicious task to complete. We'd like to express our gratitude to our expert judging panel (Mr Walker, our year 5/6 pupils and Hayley from the PTA) for taking on this burden.
The winners were as follows:

Are you a real whizz with a whisk?
Or a cupcake legend in the baking?
This term sees the return of our much loved bake-off competition! Wilstead Primary PTA invites you to wow us with your finest yummies, raise funds for the school and enjoy some tasty treats with one another.
The optional theme will be "Autumn / Winter" and entries will be judged on style, originality and taste.
Entry is free but all donated bakes will be on sale in the school hall at the end of the day, with all proceeds raised to be put towards the new school Kitchen Classroom.
Please bring your donations in to school that morning ready for sale, with a list of ingredients for allergy information.
Friday 14th July 2023 - Break the rules day!
This Friday 14th July sees the return of our ever popular break the rules day!
Check out the list of rule breaks and see which your kids want to do!
50p fine per rule broken, payable first thing on the day: each class will add up what they've raised and win extra Golden Time!
May Disco
Wilstead PTA would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped to make the summer disco a great success. There was plenty of fun, sparkly glitter and smooth moves on the dance floor including an impressive staff led Macarena! A special shout out to our squad of parent and staff volunteers for keeping the supply of face paints and tuck shop goodies flowing amongst their other duties. We were able to raise nearly £600 from the event which will be used to support additional forest school provisions for all classes.
The disco will return in the autumn term along with plans for a family bingo night. If you have any ideas for more fun activities then the PTA would always love to hear from you at wilsteadpta@hotmail.com
